After many forts, Khusrobagh is the last creation of the Mughals.

The third Dynasty mughal emperor was the  Akbar who ruled 1542 to 1605. During his reign he came to Prayagraj and built Allahabad Fort.  Then Jahangir was the fourth dynasty of Mughal emperor ruled between  1605 to 1627. In 1601 AD Jahangir rebelled against his own father Akbar for sovereignty. In 1605 AD Jahangir was made as zamindar officer . After that he became the king of Allahabad fort. After that khusro Mirza, son of Jahangir ,  rebelled against his father. Seeing this fight between father and son , khushro's mother Sultan Begum committes sucide. From here,  khushrobagh was established in which the first tomb of khusro's mother built in 1607 AD.

In 1606 khushro's rebellion cost heavily on him because he rebelled against his father Jahangir. On the contrary, Jahangir had blinded his son and imprisoned in the garden. Unfortunately, khsuhro died in the battle to attain  the throne. In this battle Jahangir's second son khurram also involved to kill his brother (khusro Mirza) .khurram attains the throne . Later he was known as Shah Jahan . In  1622 AD, the second tomb of khusro Mirza was built next to his mother's tomb.

The third tomb was of Nithar Begum , sister of khusro Mirza. His grave situated between Mother & her  brother. 

Jahangir's important courtyard Aka Raza an excellent artist. He designed the entrance gate  , mausoleum and 3 tier tomb of sultan Begum in this garden. 

In 1857 there was a military mutiny during the British rule . That period Maulana Liaquat Ali was the governor of Allahabad. In this garden strategies was made by the soldiers against the Britishers. But later British puts out this rebellion and captured khusroobagh.

khushrobagh is situated at mohalla khuldabad near Prayag railway junction in Prayagraj.This is the big walled garden cover forty acres land .There are three major mausoleum surrounded by garden. There are four main paths in the garden.  There are more guava tree here. Thats why guava festivel is celebrated every year in this graden If you want to feel the nature to the fullest you can do yoga or jogging in this garden.  People of all classes come here to visit this historical garden.
